The village of Brezna is situated on the Niksic-Pluzine road, 30 km or a 30 minute drive from Niksic. It is a 25 km2 ravine. The landscape around Brezna is formed by Vojnik, Stuoc and Stojkovac on the south, Komarnica river canyon, Nevidio canyon, Drobnjak, Savnik and other mountain ranges on the east and north, as well as the southern slopes of the mountain Durmitor; the mountains Golija and Piva are on the west.

All of these mountains are sedimentary, except Stuoc, which is volcanic.
The climate is continental, with the lowest recorded temperature of -30º C in the winter, and the highest recorded temperature of +31º C in the summer.
